DEATH PLUNGE INQUEST: 'I was screaming' - woman tells court

After a short break Mrs Davidson returned to continue her evidence.

She said: "I was screaming, I couldn't stop screaming. I told my husband to go in and help.

"I couldn't do anything for them. I ran to the reception and called for an ambulance."

Hogan, 33, has been receiving treatment at a psychiatric hospital near Athens since a court cleared him of murder, ruling he was suffering an "earthquake" of psychosis when he took Liam's life.

After the verdict, Mrs Visser called on British authorities to "rectify a miscarriage of justice", claiming their son had "lost his life for nothing".

Wearing a dark suit, blonde Mrs Hogan arrived via the rear entrance at Kings Weston House flanked by her mother and stepfather, Brian Chandler.

Hogan, originally from Bristol, had told the court in January he felt "no guilt" after apparently hurling Liam from the fourth floor, jumping himself with two-year-old Mia.

Liam died instantly but Hogan and Mia survived with broken limbs following the plunge on August 15 2006.
